I had the same issue...I received call from hr saying my cv is at the top for selected candidates they are calling for the same, I cleared all rounds.. submitted all documents ...
and got a call from HR that they are releasing my offer letter, and on website my status was offer letter is pending.. after 1 week of wait i contacted them again, then i was told, that your status is waiting for client interview in few days u'll get a call from client for interview..
I feel like o my gosh this is wrong first you were releasing offer letter the you say i should give interview to the client.
This is kind of fooling people, and playing with there sentiments. If you ever get selected please do not trust that you'll get offer letter, they might put you on hold to process there own candidate
