cap.bank used for p.f correction to compensate reactive power supplied from utility to reduce losses in power through t.l so we use cap near load in parallel ....how to calc cap rated

where P- real power. From this we find the required Qc:
Qc= Quncorrected-Qcorrected=P×(tanφ1- tanφ2)
