What is meant by "tampering detection" of a electrical
energy meter?

The tampering detection in electrical meter is a function that log the tampering events when the tampering occurred.
means if you tamper the meter by applying the magnet then the meter is logged the magnet tamper with date and time and meter may start to register the energy on maximum load (240V and 60A).
