Related substance means some process related compounds or by products and degradation compounds which are unwanted one produced during the manufacturing process of API products.if the related substance is very high means the reaction is not completed properly.the structure and properties of related substance partialy identical with main product.
Impurities means some unwanted substances produced due to contamination during manufacturing process.moreover the structure and properties of impurity will be completely different from the main product.
