sir, i want to know the calculation for find rated current
for cable sizes.(both copper & aluminium) with examole.
please sir
for example: 35sq.mm al.cable is withstands for how many
amps?
is suitable for 45kw motor?
Answer Posted / bhaskar
Current carrying capacity depends upon type of conductor and size&resistance &length of the conductor.
Eg:
Resistance of conductor is inversely proportional to cross section area of conductor and directly proportional to length of the conductor.
35 sq.mm cu cable can carry 130 amp
Current carrying capacity of cupper conductor is equal to 1.6 times of alluminium conductor in size.
4 sq.mm cu cable= 6 sw.mm am cable

(I know that we use capacitor because we want to absorb the current that in the first second electronic motor in opposed with current course produce. ) what are the feature of Resistor and in such situation ?
