First angle projection
followed in other than USA countries
The object is imagined to be in first quadrant and plane of projection is not transparent
object lies between observer and plane of projection
Top view drawn below to the elevation
Left side view drawn in right side of elevation vice versa
Third angle projection
Followed in USA
the object is imagined to be in third quadrant and plane of projection is transparent
plane of projection lies between observer and object
Top view drawn above to the elevation
Left side view drawn in left side of elevation itself
