The Hyderabad State Congress was founded by:
(1) Burgula Ramakrishna Rao
(2) Swami Ramananda Tirtha
(3) Madapati Hanumantha Rao
(4) Ravi Narayana Reddy
Answer Posted / p n subramanian
Swami Ramanand Tirtha was a great patriot philosopher - and very dedicated and devoted soul in the cause for freedom of the Nation, and motivated many youth in right direction !
May I submit I was a Youth Congress Member and worker, way back in 1942/48 in erstwhile Hyderabad State of The Nizam !
Had occasion to interact with him on some occasions too; very noble person, not interested in power or position; Burgula Ramakrishna Rao was therefore chosen to be Leader for Office and became CM later! Old memories, recall ! I am past 87 yrs!
