In tlc the stationary phase is a silica gel plate vt a supprting medium wher asin papr the sstationary phase is d water present in cellulose. More crrosive reagents can b used in tlc eg. Sulfuric acid, wher as corrosive rgnts cn spoil d stationary phse in paper chromatography.. tlc is a faster less time consuming technique n seperation of d spots is also faster.. most importantly the proper sepearration of d spots in tlc is due to d particle size o f d stationary phase.. here the partcles are evenly packed n siz is smaller ..
