Transformer has its primary winding and secondary winding. Each winding also has its own resistance and reactance.Combination of thes two parameter is Impedance of transformer.
z1=R1+jX1 Where z1=Primary Impedance where as R1=Resistance of Primary winding and X1=Reactance of Primary winding.
z2=R2+jX2 Where z2=Secondary Impedance where as R2=Resistance of Seconary winding and X2=Reactance of Secondary winding.
