Can we create a report in cognos BI without a Package? i.e.
without framework manager? If so how? I have been asked this
question twice..i think this feature is available in cognos
10 version..not very sure....Could anybody highlight?

Imagine opening report studio without a package? so the answer is 'NO'. At least we need a dummy package to open report studio as well and from there we can create a new report by writing our own SQL query in query explorer
