Why do not use flywheel in petrol engine

Because in petro engine out of four stroke power is produced in only one stroke i.e in power stroke .So for other three stroke energy is stored in the flywheel which helps in limiting the fluctuation of speed of crank shaft in all other three strokes inlet , compression and exhaust.
