Scanner air fans are small fans ( Both AC & DC) for supplying cooling air to scanner head.
Scanner heads are placed near the fuel nozzle of every elevation to monitor the fireball of the furnace. Taking suction from FD fan if fd fan trip than it will take suction from atmosphere air

Why superheated are started before I'd and rd fan?
