a bottle of concerntrated HCL (36.5) was labelled as 37%
(w/w) and density 1.19m/l.What is hcl molarity?
Answer Posted / gursharn singh kang
molarity =( given percentage *density/molecular wt.)*10
so M WT. of hcl=36.46
i.e. molarity=(37*1.19/36.46)/10
=12.0762 M
