It means there is no CD in the drive. if CD in the drive and still error

If we open CD-ROM drive then the responce is "please insert
cd into drive" What is the problem? Is it with CD-ROM
problem of some services problem?how can we solve this
problem?

It means there is no CD in the drive. if CD in the drive
and still error massege comes then CD problem or CD-Drive. There is lens in CD-Drive to read data from CD/DVD.
