how an manometer can be used as square root extractor?
Answer Posted / vipul s prajapati
From manometer, you will only get differential pressure(Say Delta P). Now you can convert it to flow by given formula.
Flow= Sqrt. of Diff. pressure
Ex. suppose you got Delta P of 100mmwc of 400mmwc full scale measurement. then Delta p would be 0.25 or 25%. flow become sqrt of 0.25 = 0.5 or 50%. of full scale flow measurement.
