sub total: Here, it shows where exactly your condition values are stored temporarily. It stores until further calculation is done.
for example, you maintain as 'A' at subtotal near gross/net value when you do credit management, here system checks with the credit management settings whether credit limit is set for the customer. If yes, and it exceeds the credit limit order will be blocked.
