WEBSERVER
1.Web server is a piece of software.
2.It is used to communicate over HTTP,HTTPS protocols.
3.It can also communicate via FTP protocols
4.It can handle CGI requests and also act as a proxy server.
APPLICATION SERVER
1.Application server is a pice of software.
