1. star schema does not support hierarchy but extended star schema support hierarchy.
2. master data redundency in star schema and in extended star schema there is no masterdata redundancy.
3. In extended star schema master data devided in 3 categories that is
1. md text data
2. md attribute data
3. md hierachy data
