An UPS (uninterruptible power supply) is a device that supply power to your computer to running continuing when primary source or power is lost. It also protects our electronics gadgets during unnecessary power lost. UPS a power supply that includes a battery to maintain power in the event of a power outage. UPS are two basic types, One is: standby power systems (SPSs) and other is on-line UPS systems.
Inverter converts DC power (stored in its battery) to fulfill respective requirements of the devices.UPS does the similar task of power supply and is quite similar to inverters working in order to supply power.
Inverter has a wider range of input power as compared to UPS.
