When I open a project in Visual Basic that is under Source Code control, does Visual SourceSafe get the latest version of the project?

In order to get the latest version of your project from Visual SourceSafe, you need to set the Tools->SourceSafe->Options->'Get the latest checked-in version while opening the Visual Basic project' option to Yes

I checked in modified code into vSS . Now I have another working area and which has older version.
