Why induction motor overheated?

The reason of overheating is generally due to i2R losses and in induction motor the current drawn by motor is high as there is air gap to produce the magnetizing current and also the flux density is required high. hence over heating occoures

in ring main system we use the isolater b/w transfer bus and main bus if we r not use isolatar than wat will be the effect in our sys.
