What are the best practices while building a Cognos Framework Manager Package ?
As in, what calculations would you not like to be handled in FM and rather get it directly from Database.

best practices of framework manager are,
Create
1)Database view
a)Import the Metadata from database.
b)Check the usage properties of each query item
c)manage the relationship and cardinality of Query subjects
2)Business view
Rename the existing query subjects into business understandable names.
3)Dimensional view
a)Create regular and measure dimensions using business view.
b)set member caption and business key of regular dimension.
c)Check scope of dimensional view.
4)Package view
a)create query and analysis packages.
b)publish the packages to cognos connection.
