in normal power system, if load is connected to only one common bus,then whole load depend on it. But, if load is connected in ring system, like ring main system, then if one section getting fault, then other will capable to supply power. So, it is more important for reliability of power supply

I am interested to know what does 15 KVA DG set actually means? If I dont know the DG rating, is it possible to identify KW by simply knowing the diesel consumption?
