How to convert KV into MV in a Transformer?. dont say
multification of 1000.pls give practical convertion factor.
Answer Posted / engr. rohail jose
1 kV= 1000 Volts
1 MV= 1000,000 Volts
This implies that
1000 kV = 1 MV
1 kV = 1/1000 MV
Therefore the Conversion Factor from kV to MV is 1/1000
(Note: kilo means Thousand Times and
Mega means Million Times)
