marketing
Answer Posted / grace cecelia roland
Traditional Marketing concept primarily emphasizes on the transfer of the ownership of the product from the producer to the customer. It was entirely production and sales oriented, thus marketing was just concerned with the buying and selling of goods and services.
However, Modern Marketing concept evoked a different approach to the purpose of marketing itself.
The modern concept of marketing dealt with customer creation. This meant that customer satisfaction was essential and that it must be met in order for a business organization to be profitable. By doing so the sales and marketing aspect of a business organization took into consideration customers preferences, ideal promotional techniques, ways to retain there customers and ways to attract new customers. All this practices meant that customers were given priority. Thus, modern marketing concept is customer service oriented.
