Fermentor - specialized vessel with all required control facilities used to cultivate MICROORGANISMS LIKE BACTERIA, YEASTS, MOLDS, ACTINOMYCETE fermentations to produce the desired products.
Bioreactor - specialized vessel with all required control facilities used to cultivate CELL CULTURES LIKE (mostly) ANIMAL CELL CULTURE (less frequently) PLANT & INSECT TISSUE CULTURE) fermentations to produce the desired products (USUALLY PROTEINOUS).
