Generally The term Line voltage used in three phase system when all the phase having same voltage while phase voltage term used when all phase havnt same vol.line voltage of star connected 3phase always greater than phase voltage and it is equal to phase vol multiplied by sq root of 3.in delta connection phase voltage and line voltage are same
