what if i want to lap a 20mm dia and a 16mm dia together wat
will be the lap length??

When two bars of different dia lapped together, lap length is provided based on lower dia.
Here both both 20 & 16 mm used. So, lap length is based on 16 mm. Normally, we provide lap length 50 times dia of bar. So lap length in this case will be 800 mm.

In an aggregate blending plant, water is sprayed before blending is performed. If the fine content in aggregate is as high as 25 %, will not the fines form into lumps / balls and distribution will not be uniform ? Further, the fines will stick onto the interior of pug mill and its content will be low. The mixed material is stockpiled for weeks / months before use.
