in sm51 server status ,when we used passive status ? ,can we change passive 2 active , if yes then how ?
Answer Posted / rupesh
PASSIVE status of a AS means application server is logically removed from the system .This is going to be stopped. In passive status it can only process the requests that are already in the Queue. It can't accept new request.
After processing all the requests this AS will be stopped manually.

1.ENTER SM51
2.SELECT THE INSTANCE
3.GOTO 'MENU'
4.SELECT 'EDIT'
5.CHANGE STATE
