can we do sap BO without Sap BW. Pls anybody tell me. Thanks in advanse. Srinivas

I guess your question pertains to training, In which case you don't need to be an expert in BW to work on Business Objects, BO is a front end reporting tool and BW is a Data warehouse, having said so it would help you a lot if you know the fundamentals of Data warehousing
To develop reports with BO you need a datasource i.e a system which provides data to your reports, it can be a BW system, Oracle DB, SAP ECC, or any other. It's not necessary that a company using BO as a reporting tool should have SAP BW as their BI solution, they can have any other system available in the market.
