PID provides a modulated output response to an error signal,
where error is the difference between what you want, the
setpoint, and what you have, the process variable.
PID uses an output response proportional to the input span
(P = proportional), modified by the accumulated error over
time (I = integral) and modified by the rate-of-change of
the error (D=derivative).

The company where I am working, their is rosemount 5400 series radar type level transmitter, it is meant to show level of filled tank, but along with the level it is showing temperature also, so my question is how a onon-contact type radar type level transmitter can show temperature even if it does not have any contact with the fluid?
