All the cost accounting assignment-related data such as cost
center, internal orders or investment projects, etc., need
to be maintained as ‘Time-dependent Data’ in asset masters.
Additionally, the information related to asset shut-down and
shift operation also needs to be maintained as time
dependent. SAP maintains all the time-dependent data for the
entire life span of the assets
