circuit breaker work alone during fault condition or need
any relays ?

Answer Posted / avd

It depends on circuit breaker. If sensing eliment is
installed inside the CB or outside the CB. Like MCCB with
maganetic trip latch will operate. Same way MCB will also
operate as it has short ckt and O/L sensing eliment. But
large circuit breakers have relays outside.
