single phase 230v three phase voltage 415volt why we aren't
used line voltage 690v?
Answer Posted / hassan
In 3 phase (RYB) one Phase remain zero other one positive and one negative. if we draw 3 phase (wave)diagram .
so voltage is 440 not 690
V+0+(-V)= 2V
0+V+(-V)=2V and v=240
(-V)= V because it is magnitude
similarly
8 combination

Please explain why it is so?)
