what will happen if we pass electric current through rebars of
RCC Slab(is there any strength reduction of concrete during
this)??????????
Answer Posted / s.nandha
For protecting the reinforcement bars from corrosion this kind of technique can be used. It will induce an electric charge in reinfocement so that the corrosion inducing agents don't affect the steel bar.
but i don't think it will change any strength parameters of concrete.
