BRD- Business Requirement Document also called as BSD
(Business Specification Document)in certain project.
BRD/BSD is termed only in PLAN DRIVEN projects (Waterfall,
SPIRAL Methodologies etc).
When it is Change Driven projects (AGILE - SCRUM etc) it is
termed as PRODUCT BACKLOG.
BRD is the initial phase of requirement gathering which
provides all information.
BRD is the document which explains Business requirements
like cost of the project and based on the cost the list of
tasks.
BRD documents all the high level requirement, the business
users needs i.e. what all the application has to perform to
satisfy user needs.
FRD/FSD -Functional requirement Document or Functional
Specification Document which provides an user clear
understanding in pictorial manner defining ACTORS, USE CASES
etc.

Hello. I am not here to answer your question. I jus found a job as software QA engr. And i am totally new to software testing. So can someone pls help me in the following scenario? there is this registration screen, and it contain: One textbox called Nickname which only accept alphanumerical One textbox called Contact which only accept numerical, One textbox called Email which can be filled with alphanumerical and symbol and One button called Register now becos there is so many textboxes, where i can filled with alphabet, number, symbol, "just space", leading zeros, leading space. there will be lots of combination. can someone pls help.. i will be appreciated if u can post the test case of the scenario i mentioned. Hi, this is murthysharma. I need very urgently about some terms which are used in use cases? Plz give reply to me, if any body know, It is really very very urgent. 1. what is the difference between basic flow,exception flow and alternative flow? 2.what are non-functional requirements in use cases? 3.what are exceptions, special requirements, business rules, assumptions, constraints.
