Difference between islanding and house load operation.

in case of nuclear power plant due to grid disturbance like
under frequency condition, generator will feed power to one
or few parts of grid only which are predefined and remaining
part will be isolated from grid. this mode is islanding mode
whereas in houseloading mode generator will feed to its own
houseload only if grid is not further stabilised, that is
also for few minutes only till grid gets normaliesd and
restored. otherwise generator has to be manually
tripped.these arrangements are for baseload operating
generators only. because of these arrangements grid can be
restored easily
