Two type of traceability.

1. Forward traceability
Req. Capture -> Design Document -> Test Cases
OR
Req. Capture -> Test Cases
2. Reverse traceability
Test Cases -> Design -> Req. Capture
OR
Test Cases -> Req. Capture

Normally Forward traveability is used.
