Lets consider point 1 alone
X + Y = 240
3Y = 240
Y = 80
Nothing can be concuded further from point 1 alone

Now lets consider point 2 alone
number of X tickets purchased = 60% of X
= 0.6X = 1.2Y (since X=2Y)

number of Y tickets purchased = 80% of Y
= 0.8Y

total tickets purchased = 1.2Y + 0.8Y = 2Y
total number of tickets = X + Y = 2Y + Y = 3Y

% of tickets purchased = (2Y/3Y)*100 = 66.66%
