client will ask for enhancement
for example we are developing a diary app.earlier when we were
creating a diary there is no password protection but now in
settings i can turn on password protection that means when i
click on a diary it should ask for password
so i have to write test case depending upon the enhancement

If you are handling a product testing and if there are around 100 test cases and in them few test cases are failed then at the end of the day how will you treat whether the product is pass/fail.? consider the failed test cases are in functional requirements.
If client give you a project then which testing you will perform first
