What is different between hypo test and megger test
Answer Posted / s.j.shukla
Hypo test is HIGH VOLTAGE test according to voltage rating under test. Say for 415 V , AT 2KV /4KV as per customer requirement & for 11 KV , 28 KV OR SO..bASICALLY IT IS ACTUALLY HIGH VOLTAGE TEST. However meggering is a measurement of DC equivelent insulation resistance of any insulation.
