what is single turn and multiturn encoder ? Can single turn
encoder be used to show rpm of a motor(on shaft) ?

single turn encoder mean you can rotate 360 degree after you
canot turn it at same direction multiturn encoder mean after
360 degree it auto metic preset 0 value you can rotate again
the same direction its using splicing shaft
