Why induction
motor can not be
operated at
synchronous
speed?? what
would happen if
it is operated
at synchronous
speed??
Answer Posted / jigneshkumar maheshwari
induction motor does not run at synchronous speed because
synchronous speed is a speed of rotating megnetig field ie
rotor runs at Ns the rmf & rotor conductor are comes in
parallel so no cuts the field so emf not produced thatswhy
