alternator is divided in two parts.
1-a.c alternator.
2-d.c alternator.
a.c alternator has divided into two parts.
1-self excited.
2-separate excited.
d.c alternator has divided into four parts.
1-series
2-shunt
3-shunt compound
4-compound shunt
