If mVolts can drop by resistance of wire as compare to mA,
then how thermocouple mV reaches in CCR as accurate value?
Answer Posted / jayakrishnan unnikrishnan
First upon CCR not receiving any mv,it is receiving only ma.
mv is going to the transmiter and the transmiter giving
output to panel and console.
& voltage drop , Thermo couple extension cable is not a
normal signal cable it is depends on the thermocouple type.
consider K type thermocouple so the extension cable should
be Nickel Aluminium, b'coz Nickel Chromium is the K type.
it will avoid voltage drop.
