ROI stands for Return On Investment.
An investor wants to know about return against investment. If a stockiest deposit their money in bank so he will get aprrox 8% return but in business he will get 15-30% return (as per business type).
roi=gross profit-expenses/investment*100
or
roi=return/investment*100
(as per industry)
