What’s the difference between forward lookup and reverse
lookup in DNS?
Answer Posted / ravi
Forward lookup zone resolves domain name into ip address.
example: try this in nslookup. in that if you give domain
name it resolves to IP.
Reverselookup zone resolves Ip into domain name. try this
same as forward lookupzone. but give ip address. it resolves
to domain name.
these all are performed with DNS server. without DNS server
it doesn't.
