Elaborate the term "rotating magnetic field"
Answer Posted / coolclikker
the movement of magnetic field in field winding of induction
machine. it moves in the clock wise or anti clockwise
direction but when this rotating magnetic field is equal to
the speed of the rotor then rotor will be in the lock out
condition. when the rotating magnetic field is less than
rotor speed. this is case in the Induction machines.
