In Star type and Delta type Motors, If one phase will
miss/Break then which phase winding will burn and why?
Answer Posted / engr. kashif
If ur motor is well protected then thermal tripping will prevent any winding burning.
If however no safety exists then one of the two windings
whose phase is ok will burn out due to excessive current and
heating.
