The drum level varies due to cause of change in drum
pressure & drum level will be compensate by the 3 element
control system,so the drum level which is rise or fall
before acting 3 element control system is generally called
actual drum level. & when it is compensate after the action
of 3 element control system is called compensated drum level

They are always redundant and connected through diode so that if one power supply fails the other can take the charge immediately.so it is possible to replace one of them in running plant if the other one is healthy.
